Hawaiian Islands

Well i just got done watching the NFL Pro Bowl which was hosted in Hawaii. Every time a commercial was about to come on, the camera would switch to some senic view of the Hawaiian islands and show a couple on the beach or under a water fall. It got me thinking why couples go to Hawaii on their hunnymoons, to get married, or just to have a get-a-way instead of picking somewhere closer to home than a 4hr. time difference. Last year Hawaii was voted the top 20 places to get married in the world, so what makes it so irresistable? Maybe it's because the scenery is awesome, or the "love vibe" you get while going there never leaves your system. It is amazing that a group of islands can lasso lovers and newlyweds and make them feel so in love more so than they do back at home.

That is very true. I have never thought of it like that before. But I do know what you mean. But it is intersting that it was played between a football game.

yeah I think that it is weird that it was played in the middle of a football game. but who wouldn't want to be on a beautiful exotic beach to be with the one of you love. I would...I know I can't get that down the street!

I've never been to Hawaii out of all of the places I've been myself so I understand what you mean about there being some weird obsession with Hawaii and how romantic its image is. Why do you think they portrayed this image during the game instead of something like all of the great places to party in Hawaii and all of the hot girls on the beach?

I think it's such a desireable start to marriages because it's a great place to have a good time period. It's sort of like guaranteeing a good start to the relationship. It's easy to be happy with a loved one in that location.
